DISSECTING PRESERVED FROGS!

i was very happy when Ms.Chona said that we'll be dissecting preserved frogs. yaaaaay!!!~  i already experienced dissecting live frogs in my sophomore year in highschool. some of the reactions of my classmates are:
  • "oh my gosh!"
  • "we haven't dissected frogs in our highschool."
  • "yeeeeeesssss!!!"
  • "this will be exciting"
  • "noooooo way!~"
  • "yucky!!!!"
  • "ewwwwwww!!!"
  • [and some are speechless]
and when the time has arrived for dissecting, i was kinda nervous and anxious.hahaha! each of us received a frog. honestly, I CRIED! that's true. you wanna know why?! no, it's not because i saw the frogs and tell myself that's it's super yucky. yes, it looks yucky but it's really fine with me. i cried because of the chemical used to preserve the dead frogs. it is called Formalin. THANKS FORMALIN, I CRIED BECAUSE OF YOU! XD my goodness! it really has a strong smell! when you smelled a lot of formalin,or even a bit, it hurts your eyes until you cried and got teary eyes. hehehe..we peeled off the skin of the frog and identify the name of each part of the frog's muscles using some colored pins.
i already took off my gloves because i finished peeling off the frog's skin.
sorry i didn't edit the picture, hahaha! it's cute right? (me being weird again)
the ugly me wearing Medtech laboratory gown :D
our professor said that we'll be dissecting live frogs and preserved cats in the future..can't wait! :)
